About

Founder & CEO

Paula Haschig brings over twenty years of experience as a climate and environment expert, holding senior positions at prestigious organizations such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Grid PLC, and Sun Life Financial.

In energy, she led National Grid to become the first energy company to achieve Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) verification. She also led the development a first-of-its-kind climate risk modeling tool, key to achieving full Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) compliance well ahead of UK regulation. This tool now generates significant revenue and plays a crucial role in ensuring a Just Transition for the company.

Paula is known for her ability to build diverse, high-performing teams, many of whom have followed her across different companies. This testament to her leadership underscores her ability to inspire and mobilize talent effectively.

In her latest venture, Paula has channeled her expertise into founding her own consultancy, The Haschig Climate Consulting Group. Unlike other consulting partners, Paula's firm focuses on execution rather than theory, filling a critical gap in the market.

Paula holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Northeastern University and, as a lifelong learner, is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) at Harvard University. A Ph.D. is next on her academic journey.

On the personal front, Paula lives in a net-zero home in Massachusetts with her husband and three children, embodying the principles of sustainability she champions in her professional life.
